F-Stop Buzz is a photography news aggregator website. Syndicated feeds from popular photography websites (DP Review, Canon USA, etc.) are organized and laid out in a logic fashion. When the source websites publish new material, it is listed on F-Stop Buzz within a few minutes.

With aggregated news sources, you can stay up-to-date without having to visit each site one-by-one to check for news. Just pick the articles that you are interested in. Hovering your mouse over a link will allow you to read an excerpt. Clicking on the link will take you directly to that article.

New listings come in at the top of a section and work their way down over a period of hours, days, or weeks. New videos come in at the left and move toward the right. Unlike most other news aggregator sites, F-Stop Buzz is Lightbox-enabled. That allows you to watch videos without leaving the site.

How is it done? F-Stop Buzz runs on a standard WordPress publishing platform and makes use of SimplePie which is a PHP library that can fetch, cache, parse, and normalize RSS feeds. Everything is open-source. However, it takes many hours to put it all together and make it work!
